About Mastros
Mastros is a software company that builds privacy-first Chrome extensions. Mastros was founded by Elias Mahdavi. Mastros ships five extensions, for WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok. Mastros extensions export group members, messages, contacts, search results and media to CSV, XLSX, JSON and JSONL. Mastros extensions process every exported row inside the user's own browser.
What Mastros builds
Mastros builds five Chrome extensions. Each Mastros extension works on one web client, in a Chrome or Chromium-based browser, and exports the data the signed-in account can already see.
- Mastros for WhatsApp
Mastros for WhatsApp exports WhatsApp Web group members, recent contacts, chat messages and chat media to CSV, JSON or JSONL. Mastros for WhatsApp is published on the Chrome Web Store.
- Mastros for Telegram
Mastros for Telegram exports Telegram Web group members, chat messages, recent contacts, mutual groups and chat media to CSV, JSON, JSONL or ZIP. Mastros for Telegram is published on the Chrome Web Store.
- Mastros for LinkedIn
Mastros for LinkedIn exports LinkedIn Profile, Company, Jobs and Posts searches, plus Sales Navigator Lead and Account searches to CSV, JSON or JSONL. Mastros for LinkedIn is published on the Chrome Web Store.
- Mastros for Instagram
Mastros for Instagram exports Instagram followers, following, comments, likers, posts, reels, stories and media to CSV, XLSX or JSON. Mastros for Instagram is launching soon.
- Mastros for TikTok
Mastros for TikTok reports exact TikTok engagement rates and exports creator profiles, creator searches, profile videos and video comments to CSV, JSON, JSONL or ZIP. Mastros for TikTok is launching soon.
How Mastros extensions handle data
Mastros extensions run client-side, read-only, and automate nothing. The four statements below are the same wording Mastros publishes to AI crawlers at /llms.txt.
Mastros extensions process data in the browser
All data processing happens in the browser. No user data is sent to Mastros servers. The extension extracts data only from chats the user already has access to.
Mastros extensions only read
Read-only — it never sends invites, messages, or InMails, never follows, likes, comments, reposts, or applies, and nothing runs in the background. The user starts every export by hand.
Mastros extensions automate nothing
There is no API client, no account connection, and no automation of any kind (no sending, scheduling, auto-replies, or broadcasting). It reads only what WhatsApp Web has already rendered.
Mastros extensions invent no data
It never finds, guesses, or buys email addresses, and it uses no outside data provider.
Mastros publishes a privacy policy and terms of service for every extension.
The founder of Mastros
Mastros was founded by Elias Mahdavi in 2026.
Elias Mahdavi runs go-to-market and operations for startups and SaaS companies — the side of the business that lives on lists, pipelines and whatever data a small team can actually get hold of.
That work kept needing data the platforms hold and do not hand over, so Elias Mahdavi built the scrapers to get it — group members, contacts and search results, landed in a spreadsheet rather than a screenshot.
Mastros is what came of that — Chrome extensions that export what an account can already see, processed in the browser, with no server in the data path.
