Two columns decide most choices. Source of the address tells you whether a blank means "not published" or "not in our index". Where it runs tells you whether a list of two thousand usernames now exists on a vendor's server, which is a processing question under GDPR before it is a preference.
Mastros: a bio reader for lists, in your browser
The Mastros Instagram extension works on instagram.com inside the session you are already signed into. Open a profile's Followers or Following, a post's Comments, an Explore page or a search result, choose it in the panel, and every row comes out with an email column filled from that profile's bio.
It resolves the disguises creators use, so name (at) domain, name [at] domain, name AT domain and a spaced @ all become a normal address. It never guesses, never buys from a data provider and never sends an address anywhere to test it. A creator who published nothing gets a blank cell.
Where it wins: any list you can open on Instagram, the address exactly as the creator wrote it, and no copy of your list on anyone's server. It also carries the engagement rate over the last 12 posts beside every row, so a list can be filtered before anyone is contacted. influencers.club: the widest index
influencers.club describes its finder as a search across more than 340 million profiles: type a username, get what the index holds. That reach is the reason to use it. An address a creator removed from their bio last year, or one collected from their linked site, can still be there.
The trade is that you are reading an index rather than the page, so freshness and provenance are the vendor's to vouch for. The free tool is one lookup at a time. A new account gets 10 free credits; after that the Starter plan runs from $140 a month for 500 export credits, one credit per valid export, and unused credits roll over. This is the tool we would concede to when the job is reaching creators whose bios say nothing.
Modash: an email finder inside an influencer platform
Modash's free finder searches its own creator database, which it puts at 380 million profiles. The finder is a door into the platform: discovery, audience analysis and campaign tracking are what the subscription is for, and the email is one field on the creator card. The platform starts at $299 a month, or $199 a month on an annual plan, with 150 email unlocks a month on that tier; the 14-day trial unlocks six.
Pick it if you are running influencer campaigns and want the finder and the vetting in one place. It is the wrong shape if you only need a column of addresses on a list you already have.
CreatorDB: a free search, and an API by application
CreatorDB's free creator search works without a card or a sign-up and returns what its directory holds on a profile, including a public contact address where it has one. Useful for a few names on a Friday afternoon. Volume goes through its data API, which is granted by application and priced by request volume, and the same index caveats apply.
SocLeads: a multi-network scraper
SocLeads is a general email scraper that covers Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and YouTube, working from keywords and follower lists. Instagram is one source among several, and the tool runs on its own infrastructure. The free trial covers 100 contacts a month; Pro is $59 a month for 10,000 contacts and Business is $149 for 100,000.
Pick it if Instagram is one input into a broader prospecting pipeline and you have decided a server-side scrape fits your compliance position. For an Instagram-only job it is more tool than you need.
Chrome Web Store scrapers: check the data path
There is a long tail of extensions with names like "email scraper for IG". Some read the page and write a file, which is fine. Others ship rows to a backend for "processing", which is a copy of your list on infrastructure you cannot audit. The Chrome Web Store listing's privacy practices section is the fastest place to check, and an extension asking for permissions on every site for an Instagram-only job deserves a second look.
Also check the cap. Several stop at a few dozen rows on the free tier, which is enough to demo and not enough to use.
Manual lookup and Google: free and correct, one at a time
Open the profile, read the bio, follow the link, tap the Email button in the app on a professional account, or search "username" email. It is the most accurate method on this list because there is no index between you and the page. It does not scale, and it is what every bio reader automates. Who this is not for
- Anyone who needs verified, deliverable addresses with a bounce guarantee. That is an enrichment service, and it charges per verified contact for a reason.
- Anyone hoping to find a personal account's login email. No tool on this list reaches it; Instagram shows it to nobody.
- Anyone who plans to mail a follower list. Bio addresses are published for collaboration enquiries, and a newsletter to them is a spam complaint waiting to happen, whichever tool produced the list.

Do Instagram email finders find emails for any account?
No. An address exists publicly only where the owner put it: the bio, the app's contact button or the linked website. Bio readers return exactly that. Database tools can return more, because their index may hold addresses collected elsewhere, and can also return nothing or something stale.
